Taiwan Visa for Indians

Original Passport with validity of minimum six months from the intended day of entry into Taiwan and minimum two blank pages for visa stamp. Attach all your old passports (if any) Copies of bio data pages of the passport.

Two recent passport size colored photographs with Glossy finish, 60% face coverage, white background and without border (Size: 35mm x 45mm) Please note: Photograph should not be more than 3 months old, scanned/stapled and should not be used in any of the previous visas.

Covering-letter from applicant on company’s letter head stating his name, designation, passport number, purpose & duration of visit and address of place of stay in Taiwan, duly signed by authorized signatory and addressed to – The Visa Officer, Taipei Economic and Cultural Center, Chennai .

Invitation letter from Taiwan to be duly signed by authorized signatory. Signing authority's email id, contact no, Taiwan stay address, multiple entry or single entry and expenses details should be mentioned on the Invitation Letter. Invitation letter should be brought to the Taipei Economic and Cultural Center (TECC) along with the application. Do not fax or email them to TECC. –Letter should be addressed to The visa office, Taipei Economic and Cultural Center, Chennai. Please Note: The embassy might ask for invitation letter in Chinese language after reviewing the case, hence it is advisable to submit it with the application initially to avoid delay.

in addition to the documents above a) Original Highest Degree Certificate Note 2: a) Mandatory document to be submitted by the nationals of Bangladesh, Nepal and Srilanka : A Letter of Guarantee provided by host company. b) Visa applications for above nationals must be applied at New Delhi Note 3: a) Indian passport holders who hold valid visas or permanent residences for US, UK, Canada, Japan, Schengen Convention countries, Australia or New Zealand, are eligible to apply for Taiwan Visa online. b) Single & Multiple Entry Visa is Embassy's Discretion. c) The fees will be paid as per the category the applicant is applying in. The embassy will grant the visa as per its own discretion, however if applicant has applied for multiple entry and the visa is granted for single entry then the visa fees will be non-refundable.
